How to reach the desk
There is one editorial mailbox, editor@iloilocoinph.com, and it reaches the people who write and check these pages.
The one address
All editorial mail goes to editor@iloilocoinph.com. That single mailbox is the correct route for a correction, a question about how a page was researched, or a note that something on the site reads unclearly. It is not a support line and it is not monitored around the clock.
Please write from an address you actually read and include the page you are asking about. A short, specific message with the URL and the sentence you are questioning is far easier to act on than a long general one.
The response time to expect
Expect a reply within three to five business days for most editorial questions, and allow up to seven business days during periods when message volume is high. We are a small desk and we read every message, but we do not staff a live chat or a same-hour inbox. Business days are Monday to Friday, excluding Philippine public holidays. A message sent on a Friday afternoon in Manila will typically be picked up the following week. If you need an answer within minutes, this is not the right channel, and we would rather say so than promise a speed we cannot keep.
Correction requests about a factual error are read ahead of general questions, so a clear correction often gets a first response sooner than the three-to-five-day window. That does not mean instant: verification still takes time, especially when the fix involves a formula or a regulator caveat. Messages that arrive without the page URL, the exact sentence, or the instrument code take longer because the first reply has to ask for them. A complete message is the single biggest factor in how fast you hear back, more than the subject line or the time of day.
We do not send automated acknowledgements that pretend a human has read the message. If you have not heard back within seven business days, send one follow-up with the original message quoted below it; do not resend the same message repeatedly, because duplicates slow the queue. We cannot give a response time for account, funding, or withdrawal issues because we do not handle them at all; those messages are redirected, and the redirect itself may take a few days. For anything urgent involving money already in an account, contact the broker directly rather than waiting on this desk.
No guest posts, no sponsored reviews, no paid placement
This site does not accept guest posts, sponsored reviews, or paid placement at any price. If you are writing to offer content, a link, or a mention in exchange for payment, the answer is no, and it will stay no regardless of the amount.
That rule exists so that what you read here is chosen by the desk and not bought by someone else. It also means we cannot make an exception for a friend, a partner, or a broker we happen to rank well.
What to send for each kind of question
Send the exact page URL, the instrument code BTC/USD, and the specific figure or sentence you are questioning when your message is about content on the site. For a bitcoin pip or lot calculation, include the reference price you used (for example 77000.0), the lot size (0.10, 1.00), and the formula you applied so we can reproduce the arithmetic. For a platform question about MT4, MT5, cTrader, or the FxPro app, name the platform and the menu path you followed. For a funding question, state GCash or bank transfer and the currency involved (₱ or USD). Vague references such as 'the leverage page' slow everything down.
Include a screenshot or a copied block of text when the issue is visual or numerical. A screenshot should show the full window, including the platform name, the BTC/USD chart or order ticket, and any margin or lot fields, with account numbers and personal details masked. For a suspected typo in a peso amount or a dollar figure, quote the sentence exactly as published and say what you believe it should read. Do not send passwords, one-time codes, or full bank details; we never need them to answer an editorial question and their presence forces us to delete the message.
State your question in one sentence at the top of the message, then add context below. A subject line such as 'BTC/USD pip value example on the margin page shows 1.0 but the lot size is 0.10' lets the desk route the message immediately. If your question concerns the leverage cap that applies to the entity serving the Philippines, say so explicitly and mention that you understand it is a cap, not a target. If it concerns the regulator caveat, quote the caveat as published. One question per message is easier to answer than five unrelated ones.
What the desk will and will not help with
We will explain how a calculation on the site works, where a figure came from and when it was read, and why a particular broker was or was not included. We will also take a correction seriously and say what we did about it.
We will not help with account problems, cannot recover funds, and do not give personal advice on whether to buy, sell, or hold bitcoin. If your issue is with a broker, it belongs with that broker's own support, and if you believe you have been defrauded, the proper route is the authorities, not an editorial desk.
What we can and cannot answer, and why personal trading advice is out of scope
We can answer factual and editorial questions about the material published on this site: how a pip is defined for BTC/USD (1.0), how a standard lot of 1 BTC relates to a 0.10-lot position, what the worked margin figure of about $385.00 at the applicable cap represents, which platforms FxPro offers, and what the regulator caveat for the Philippines says. We can also confirm whether a sentence, table, or formula on a page matches our source material, and explain the reasoning behind a published example. These are questions about the text, not about your account or your money.
We cannot answer questions that require knowing your financial situation, your existing positions, your risk tolerance, or your goals. That includes whether you should buy or sell bitcoin, what lot size you should trade, whether the current reference price near 77000.0 makes a good entry, or how much of your savings to commit. Those are personal trading advice questions, and answering them would be both inappropriate and unsafe. We also cannot interpret your broker statement, calculate your taxable gain, or tell you whether a specific trade was a mistake. A general educational explanation of a concept is fine; a recommendation dressed up as education is not.
We cannot confirm real-time prices, spreads, swaps, commissions, or minimum deposits because we do not publish those numbers and do not have a live feed. If your question depends on a number we were not given, the honest answer is that it depends on the broker's current schedule and the entity serving your country, and you should check the platform or the broker directly. We also cannot speak for FxPro, the FCA, CySEC, or the SEC of the Philippines. Any statement about what a regulator requires should be read from the regulator itself; we can only repeat the caveat as published.
What a useful message contains so an answer is possible
A useful message contains four things: the page URL, the exact text or number in question, the instrument code BTC/USD, and a one-sentence statement of what you want to know. Without the URL, the desk has to search the site; without the exact text, it has to guess which sentence you mean; without the instrument code, it may look at the wrong page. A message that says 'your bitcoin margin example is wrong' cannot be answered. A message that says 'on [URL], the 0.10-lot example says about $385.00 margin; is that at the cap for the Philippines entity?' can be answered.
Include the reference price you used when the question is arithmetic. The published reference price is approximately 77000.0, and a pip for BTC/USD is 1.0, so a reader working through a lot-size example should state whether they used 77000.0 or a different price. If you are comparing two pages, link both. If you are quoting a platform screen from MT4, MT5, cTrader, or the FxPro app, say which one and which field you are reading. Screenshots are welcome when personal details and account numbers are masked; a screenshot with an unmasked account number will be deleted.
Say what outcome you are looking for: a confirmation, a correction, a clarification, or a pointer to the right page. If you are asking about funding with GCash or bank transfer, state the method and the currency (₱ or USD) and ask the editorial question, not the account question. If you are asking about the regulator caveat, quote it as published: 'FxPro is licensed by the FCA (UK) and CySEC - not by the SEC of the Philippines.' A message that names the exact caveat and asks a specific question about it will get a specific answer. A message that asks 'is FxPro safe' will not.
How a correction request is handled
A correction request is logged, checked against the source facts, and either applied with a visible note or declined with a reason. The first step is confirming what the page actually says, so we quote the sentence back to ourselves and compare it with the fact we were given. If the page states a number, a regulator name, or an instrument definition that does not match, the fix is usually straightforward and the page is updated. If the request is about style, emphasis, or a preference, it is noted but not necessarily changed. Every accepted correction is dated so readers can see the page was revised.
We correct factual errors, broken formulas, wrong instrument codes, misstated regulator caveats, and misleading phrasing that could cause a reader to misread a risk. We do not remove accurate content because a reader disagrees with it, and we do not add numbers we were not given just to make an example look more precise. If a correction would require a spread, commission, swap, or minimum deposit figure that is not in our source material, we will rephrase around the gap rather than invent a number. Corrections are not negotiations; they are either supported by the facts or they are not.
Send a correction to the same address as any other message, with the subject line starting 'Correction' and the page URL in the body. Include the exact published text, what you believe it should say, and the basis for your belief if you have one. Do not send a rewritten paragraph and ask us to publish it; send the specific error and let the desk make the edit. If the correction concerns a peso amount, a dollar figure, or a leverage cap, quote the figure as published and say what is wrong with it. We will reply with the outcome, not just an acknowledgement.
What we cannot do, and where account access, fund recovery, and personal advice actually go
We cannot access, unlock, freeze, or close a trading account, and we cannot recover funds. We are an editorial desk, not a broker, and we have no connection to any account system. If you cannot log in to MT4, MT5, cTrader, or the FxPro app, if a withdrawal is delayed, if a deposit sent by GCash or bank transfer has not appeared, or if you believe money has been taken, contact FxPro directly through the channel listed on its own website or app. For a dispute you cannot resolve with the broker, the next step is the regulator that licenses the entity you are dealing with, not this desk.
We cannot give personal trading advice, and we cannot tell you whether to trade bitcoin, what lot size to use, or how to manage an open position. We also cannot calculate your margin requirement for your specific account because the applicable cap depends on the entity serving the Philippines and on the broker's current terms. The worked figure of about $385.00 for a 0.10-lot bitcoin position at the applicable cap is an illustration, not a quote for your account. For your own numbers, use the platform's margin calculator or ask the broker; for a decision about risk, the answer has to come from you or a licensed adviser.
We cannot act on a regulator complaint, a police report, or a bank chargeback, and we cannot verify whether a message you received is genuinely from FxPro. If you are unsure whether a communication is real, go to the broker's official website or app and use the contact route published there rather than a link in an email. For the Philippine side, remember the caveat as published: 'FxPro is licensed by the FCA (UK) and CySEC - not by the SEC of the Philippines.' That sentence tells you which regulators to approach and which one does not supervise this entity, and it is the limit of what we can say on the subject.
Trade BTC/USD on FxPro
FxPro gives Philippine traders MT4, MT5, cTrader and the FxPro app for bitcoin, with funding through GCash or bank transfer. The entity serving this country is licensed by the FCA (UK) and CySEC, not by the SEC of the Philippines.
